| Competitor: | 1. | Each crew will consist of 28 members (include: 1 team manager, 1 coach, 20 paddlers, 4 reserve paddlers, 1 drummer and 1 steersman). |
| ¡@ | 2. | No woman may participate in a men's crew and vice versa, except as steersman or drummer, and a mixed crew shall race with at least eight(8) female paddlers, up to a maximum of twelve(12). |
| ¡@ | 3. | For Open International, there will be no restriction on the number of men & women in each crew provided that it doesn't exceed the total number of 22. |
| Race Format: | 1. | Local races - format will be explained in the team managers' meeting. |

International races ¡V local crews competing in the local
categories will have the time of their first race classified as their
qualifying time for the International Championships. All crews will then be ranked according to the order of the qualifying time and then divided into three competition groups of 24. The fastest 24 crews will compete in Group 1, the second fastest 24 in Group 2 and the third fastest 24 crews in Group 3. Group 1 / 2 / 3 will compete in International Cup / Plate / Bowl Championships respectively. (Details will be explained in the team managers' meeting) |

| 3. | Overseas teams will undergo a qualify race for the International Championships. | |
